Faith, Hope and Charity

Faith, Hope and Charity are the three Christian theological virtues that allows humanity to preserve NATURE.

(Forests, Oceans and all Life) According to the apostle Paul, “Now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of them is Charity”. (Paul the Apostle in 1 Corinthians 13)

Faith is not a blind religious belief, but confidence in yourself and the ability to influence people to be able to change things as they are, to what you desire them to be. This is the principal quality that is required to be able to change the course of events.

Hope is the desire and expectation for a particular outcome. This is a necessary quality, if one wants to effect change.

This allows the Individual to approach the issue with a mindset and strategy suitable for success. It is not a wish, but the belief that you will reach your goal, no matter what.

Charity, in Christian thought, is the highest form of love which is unselfish. It indicates one’s ability to sacrifice all that you have to attain an objective. All that is needed, is for public benefit. It is a service, not for profit, but for someone else to benefit from your expertise.

Sustainability

How will these three qualities help in progressing/attaining sustainable development for coming generations?

It helps us in having confidence, expecting yourself to achieve your objective, working unselfishly for the survival of future generations and the survival of the only planet we have to live in. The key to sustainability is awareness and education from a very young age.

This is what the Mobius Foundation is working towards !
