In an exclusive interaction with MediaBrief, Pradip Burman, Chairman of Mobius Foundation, speaks about how sustainability, environmental consciousness, and environmental conservation are keys to a better future and a greener planet. He highlights the best practices for brands to achieve sustainable growth and outlines how Mobius is working towards its goals by spreading awareness and backing multiple on-ground initiatives. Give us an overview of Mobius Foundation and its journey so far.

Mobius Foundation, is a non-profit sustainability organization, working since 2015 towards the promotion of sustainability through education and empowerment, and has implemented several sustainability projects.

In a world struggling with scarcity, the foundation believes that environmental conservation is the key to a better future and a greener planet.

What was the insight behind Mobius formation what are its vision and mission?

I don’t want to protect the environment, I want to create a world where the environment doesn’t need protection. The above vision is behind the launch of Mobius Foundation, it is focused on Sustainability Education and Population Stabilization to bring the necessary change.

The Mobius strip is named after ‘August Ferdinand Mobius’, a mathematics genius. Run a finger over the surface of the strip and you will find your finger back at the starting place, having covered both sides of the strip without lifting the finger. This is the motif of sustainability.

Our vision is to create a green and peaceful living where the people believe in the power of change and education for sustainability.

While our mission is to pave a green and sustainable path towards a bright future where we leave the planet in a better state than we were born in.
